Ann Lemke Oboe Studio

Studying the oboe develops creative, independent thinking as well as the ability to interact harmoniously in an ensemble.

Young oboists learn constantly to listen and adjust, to set goals and be self-disciplined. Annual studio recitals teach poise and performance protocol.

Recital workshops help prepare students for public performances. As students progress, they are encouraged to learn to make their own reeds. Special classes with visiting artists give students the opportunity to learn from master teachers. Ann Lemke Oboe Studio offers:
